It's worrying that countries are failing to meet the urgency of the moment,
We know already right now that whatever (other) countries put out, it is not enough,
The worsening climate crisis will not wait or pause its disastrous impact as nations delay their action plans,
Big emitters, whose historical and ongoing pollution has driven the climate crisis, must take responsibility and lead by example,
The concern is that if too many countries delay, you could give the perception that they're not willing to act,
We will continue to be a leading voice for international climate action,
The public is entitled to expect a strong reaction from their governments to the fact that global warming has now reached 1.5 degrees Celsius for an entire year, but we have seen virtually nothing of real substance,
Countries are taking this extremely seriously, which isn't surprising given these plans will be key to how much of the 2 trillion boom governments can secure,
So taking a bit more time to ensure these plans are first-rate makes sense,
It's clear there are some broad geopolitical shifts underway that are proving to be a challenge when it comes to international cooperation, especially on big issues like climate change,
