The last two days have been pretty emotional. I’m just crushed by the whole experience,
I’ve seen really bad fires, but this is the worst I’ve ever seen,
My entire neighbourhood was burned to the ground,
It's a disaster to the 100th degree…it's devastating, ... There is no water coming out of the fire hydrants… we have a city that's burning and we have no resources to put out fires
The winds were like something that I’ve never seen before. Firefighters, police officers, deputies, they’re out there sheltering in their vehicles, in their trucks and their cars, so that they don’t end up getting burned from the fire,
Firefighters here on the line, they’re exhausted. You can see it in their eyes, but they’re not leaving here until they have relief,
Last night was one of the most devastating and terrifying nights that we’ve seen in any part of our city, at any part of our history,
They saved many, many lives in the last 22 hours,
I’m happy that it’s standing right now, but I don’t have a lot of hope,
This is a tragic time in our history here in Los Angeles, but a time when we’re really tested and see who we really are,
Fire literally jumping roads, taking out structures, and our public safety professionals created an environment where injuries were kept to a minimum. Fatalities were kept to a minimum,
I don’t know who all these guys are who are helping to save my house right now but I’m very grateful,
This has been a shock that is still sinking in. But we're in survival mode, so we're just grabbing certain necessities and getting out,
It's hard not to think it's unrelated to what's happening on the planet,
You got the ashes to worry about in your lungs. You got your life to worry about with these 80- to 100-mile an hour gusts,
I think our house is gone. I've tried calling home, and I've tried a couple of neighbors. It's just not ringing,
This time was different -- the fire just came down the hill so fast because of the wind,
I can't believe LA is surrounded" by wildfires
When I saw the glow of the fire coming over the mountain yesterday about eight o'clock, I took off,
