I’ve got a three-year plan. I want to start at the bottom. Train harder than any man in the world. Fight once a month.”
RIP to one of the greatest human beings to ever put on boxing gloves. This man was truly amazing!”
It’s a knockout.”
Anything you desire, you can make happen. It’s like the song, ‘When you wish upon a star your dreams come true’. Well, look at me tonight.”
It was deep in his heart that he wanted to do that one thing, win back the heavyweight championship at that advanced age, and he did,
Once he became that lovable, society-wide pitchman, pitching grills and big-man clothing and mufflers and various products, all of them being sold by that massive smile, he belonged to us,
He did not look at friendship as a casual process,
With one punch, I thought he knocked all my teeth out,
I can give you all my money, ... I don’t want your money - I want YOU!”
What you gotta lose, George
I won an Olympic gold medal and the world heavyweight title twice but I'm most remembered for one fight I lost
He won fair and square, and now I’m just proud to be part of the Ali legend. If people mention my name with his from time to time, that’s enough for me.”
George was happy with who he was outside boxing,
He was a knockout artist in the ring, and it was a pleasure getting to know him not only as a boxer but as a man. After leaving the ring, he turned into an amazing businessman — I even bought one of the first George Foreman grills!”
Rest in peace, George Foreman. Your legacy lives on, champ,
Sad to learn that two-time heavyweight champion boxer, Olympic Gold medalist, and entrepreneur George Foreman has passed away,
Our hearts are broken. With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved George Edward Foreman Sr. who peacefully departed on March 21, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. A devout preacher, a devoted husband, a loving father, and a proud grand and great grandfather, he lived a life marked by unwavering faith, humility, and purpose,
Sending my thoughts and prayers to the family of George Foreman Sr. I grew up watching him box and hearing his commercials of his Lean Mean Grilling Machine. I remember he always told the story on the talk shows about his sons were all named George Foreman. May he be at peace,
George Foreman is dead. What a GREAT FIGHTER!!!
George Foreman is dead. What a GREAT FIGHTER!!! He had, without question, the heaviest and biggest punch in the history of boxing. With the exception of Ali, when you got hit, you went down. He was something really Special, but above all, he was a Great Person, with a personality that was bigger than life. I knew him well, and he will be missed. Warmest condolences to his wonderful family!!!
