Israel moving towards Hezbollah ceasefire but issues remain, spokesperson says

The warring parties came to rare agreement late on Tuesday after months of bitter fighting in Lebanon that will provide an initial 60 day window to withdraw towards more enduring peace.

The truce proposal refers to both sides' commitment to fully implementing United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701, including provisions that refer to the "disarmament of all armed groups in Lebanon".
