UK PM to avoid mentioning Trump's controversial comments on Ukraine during meeting with US president

I've just heard those Trump comments

A Conservative MP described the president's remarks as 'nuts', saying

We have always said we want to put Ukraine in the strongest position, whether that's for going into talks or for the continuation of fighting

A senior government source told The Telegraph

Macron will be there representing the European Union. Our role is slightly different – we want to play a bridging role between the US and Europe."
